1) Finish your class work on Asian Poetry and submit the size 1 paper with all the finalized poems by tomorrow (Friday). Your size 1 paper must have 5 poems with 3 free topics and 1 topic about your class and 1 topic about something you learned this year.
a) a haiku - tercet, 5-7-5 syllable count
b) a tanaga - quatrain, 7-7-7-7 syllable count, traditional AAAA rhyme scheme or any modern rhyme scheme (except ABCD), has a figure of speech
c) a korido - quatrain, 8-8-8-8 syllable count, AAAA rhyme scheme
d) a tanka - cinquain, 5-7-5-7-7 syllable count, has a figure of speech
e) an ambahan - at least 6 line poem, 7 syllable per line, monosyllable rhyme scheme (AAAAAA...), has a figure of speech
2) Work on your preposition poetry for next week.
3) Prepare for a check up quiz on Prepositions on Monday.

1) Long Test is moved to December 2, Tuesday. Coverage is: a) Elements of Poetry, b) Present Perfect Tense and Present Perfect Progressive Tense, c) One Word Adjectives and Adjectives in a Series, and d) Prepositional Phrases used as Adjectives and as Adverbs.
2) English Song Performance is on December 3, Wednesday.
