1) Based on the information you wrote and the comments you received on the graphic organizer of LAS 2B, write an 8-12 sentence autobiographical narrative paragraph which will be read aloud as your Speak Up. The paragraph should be written on LAS 2C. Both LAS will be submitted on Tuesday, June 25.
2) Prepare for a discussion and a quiz about "Art Must Be True" on Tuesday, June 25.

1) Answer the 4 focus questions and use these while reading the story "Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan." Prepare for a discussion on Tuesday.
2) Read and fill in the blanks on the IS4 (Nouns) and LAS 4B (Braille). Prepare for a discussion on these on Tuesday.
3) Research on Nouns. Use the information to help you fill in the IS4.

1) Read IS 4 (Nouns) and use it to help you answer LAS 4E (Blogging).
2) Work with a partner and plan out your story using only nouns and verbs. You'll be given time on Tuesday to write these in class.

1) E-mail your final edited noun-verb story to me by this Friday night. My e-mail address is [email protected]
2) Work with your partner to plan out your kennings. You will be given 15 minutes on Tuesday to brainstorm.
3) Long Test # 1 will be on Thursday, July 18.
The pointers for review are as follows:
I. Reading Comprehension:
a) Noting Story Details
b) Recognizing Story Elements: Character, Setting, Plot, and Conflict (CSP, Con)
c) Making and Explaining inferences
d) Recognizing and Explaining Conflict: Man vs. Man, Self, and Nature (M vs. MSN)

i) Explaining with Short Answers
II. Grammar and Composition:
